"Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young--

Drawing from commentary in The MacArthur Study Bible*, Psalm 84 extols what a blessing it is to live in the house of God. In the above verse, the psalmist has noticed that birds have tucked their nests in the courtyards of the temple, thereby dwelling very close to the presence of God.
