Aaaah, yes.
The pint-sized, distinctive-tasting treats that are sesame sticks are yummy enough in their original/plain form, but I've recently discovered the charms of flavoring them with...honey!
It all started at the Dollar Tree, where, on their shelves, I espied a small bag of snacks which included plain walnuts and almonds, along with honey-roasted sesame sticks. Realizing I hadn't eaten sesame sticks in eons, I snatched up a bag.
While munching away (after buying them, of course), I found myself leaving the nuts and gobbling up the sticks only.
I was smitten.
I started to wonder (and worry) about whether they would be easy to find, and solo at that, so I could snack away without the distraction of other things.
Lo and behold, a few days later, as I moved toward the checkout at Kroger, I caught sight of a display full of treats, and one of them was what I was in search of! Pictured is the little container which was my prize find, and there is no brand name on them (but the ingredient list is a-ok, so they aren't sketchy!). The display appeared like it might have been temporary, so I'm going to go back and ask some questions.
When I was at Whole Foods a few days after that, I had the inspired idea to look for some in the self-serve snack aisle, where the dispensers of seeds and all sorts of sundries are located. Lo and behold, there was a container labeled, "Honey Sesame Stickes," but alas, it was totally empty. I don't know if this is a temporary or final thing, so again, I plan to go back and ask some questions.

When googling these scrumptious things, I see that both Amazon and Walmart carry some by a brand called Sincerely Nuts, so that is promising. I'm guessing wholesale stores such as Costco, Sam's Club, and BJ's might sell them, for those who have a membership to such a place. Sometime in the future, I might grab my gigantic magnifying glass and head over to Fresh Market and Trader Joe's in search of some.
So yes, do give these cuties a try. They're tasty by themselves, in salads, and even dropped into soup! And let's not forget the pizazz they can add to snacks like Chex- and trail mixes!
*Note: with the sesame sticks I've had, the honey is incorporated into an outer coating that's a bit sticky; it's not simply mixed in with the other ingredients that make up the sticks, and this is the key to the whole shebang.

*Many thanks to this pretty lantana for a sprightly photo-assist ;)
*After publishing this post, I realized that "Fresh Lock" might be the brand name of my sesame sticks--I had assumed that phrase was just a description of the packaging.
