~FLOWERS IN WINTER

My sister keeps a jar full of paper slips with fun activites written on them; every so often, she lets her 3 1/2-year-old draw one, and they complete that activity.

This past month, the cue the paper proffered was to do a good deed, so my sister bought some flowers from Trader Joe's, and she let her son hand them out to random people they saw.

I'm sure that act of kindness was much appreciated by the recipients of it--in fact, one of the girls who was gifted began to cry and said that she had really needed a little pick-me-up.

It just so happens that I was one of the people who received some pretty blooms, and I had to snap a few pics of them, of course!

What a sweet gesture this was, and I appreciated it so much ☺.

I was able to arrange my flowers in this ceramic pitcher, as I no longer needed it to water the Christmas tree.

Yes, Christmas trees to lovely bouquets--I'll take it.
