~BE STILL AND KNOW...

This past weekend, my mom and I took my little nephew to a local garden center so he could take a goosey-gander at flowers, pumpkins, and running fountains.  I espied a few gerbera daisies that were being sold by the stem, and since pink, dark brown, and white is a color combo that I really like, I knew I should carry one home with me and take its portrait.  I photographed this flower-with-a-summer-feeling in front of an autumn sunset, and I think its peacefulness in the scene symbolizes resting in Him through transition and allowing oneself to be held in His light.
